In the Republic of Moldova, a new chapter in healthcare has been opened with the inauguration of the first modern operating block at the Emergency Medicine Institute in Chișinău. This block, which consists of 15 fully equipped operating rooms with cutting-edge technology, will provide patients with optimal conditions for surgical interventions, ensuring both their comfort and safety for a swift recovery.

The Moldova Minister of Health, Ala Nemerenco, emphasized the importance of this project and mentioned that the reconstruction and equipping of the operating block cost over 177 million lei, funded by the state budget and external donations, including contributions from the Government of Japan. These investments will significantly improve healthcare services in the Republic of Moldova.
